after thinking about this i have come to a decision as to what will be my first game on my ps3...its between warhawk for $65 including the bluetooth headset or resistance for around $45 without a blue tooth headset. Im going to trade in rainbow six vegas 2 in order to afford one or the other. So, now i just need help deciding between the two. And if i go with resistnace what bluetooth headset should i buy?

I dont want call of duty 4 or metal gear solid 4 so exclude the 4's from your opinion, just resistance or warhawk.

u don't use the patch, once it downloads its there, u don't have to do anything to make it work. like call of duty 4 kill cams, when the new kill cam patch came, u could see a grenade fly thru the air and kill u. u didnt have to do anything to be able to c it, u don't need to activate anything, just download and its there. by using game u r using the patch

Thanks for the great repsonses guys lol I wasn't expected so many at once, but I've read through them all and I decided to save up for a ps3. I'm not sure which one, but one poster suggested i got a 40gb and ps2 for the ps2 games. anway the choices are there. I'm still gonna send it my 360 i gotta call MS again and get the box and do that whole thing oncea again, but yah I did invest and as long as it's stil under warranty it's fine.

I'll prolly get a ps3 over the summer or something and it should be more than enough time to save up. What are some good games out btw that are ps3 exlcusive or would be better for the ps3 (i.e. DMC4, GTA IV) just some thoughts. OH and someone said something about the dual shock controller coming out? Isn't that the sixaxis thing you guys were praising? lol

ooo if you are aiming to buy in the summer, there is the mgs4 bundle that includes the dualshock, mgs4, and obviously PS3, comes out in the summer, also there is resistance 2, and battlefield bad company, ( bf bad company isn't exclusive, but free internet on PS3) so yea, free online is another good reason to buy.

Hey I never thought I would be posting here lol, but my 360 just broke like a few hours ago and I've been thinking about the PS3. I just got my 360 back less than a month ago from MS after my first one broke and this one just broke the manufactured date was jan.1 2008 and it's brand new and it BROKE I'm so pissed because it's been like 3 weeks since I got this new replaced one. what sucks more is that i have like 15 games for this thing already cod4,halo3, guitar hero II n III, fifa 08...just to name a few...iouno if i wanna switch havin all those games and investing so much into a system.

Anyway I don't want to get into my 360 since this is the ps3 forum, but I just wanted some imput on the differen models that are out there. I know there are 2 models out there the 40 and 80 gb right? So, I was just wondering if both were backward compatible because there are a lot of ps2 games I wanted to play like god of war 1&2, kingdom hearts 1&2, metal gear games, etc. However, my friend got a ps3 60 gb and was just wondering if that model is still currently available. Anyway if you have any comments to help me out here or or other advice just add to the discussion. Thanks in advance.

they actually are getting rid of 80 gig, not sure about 40, but they are coming out with a 120 gig and a 160 gig model i think, so keep an eye out for those 2, especially the 160 gig, the 160 will probably have better hardware.

This is not some sort of a conspiracy. :p But I do see some of your points about how Gamespot's or Aaron's review of may be problematic due to the rest of the other game review outlet's scores or ranks.

I do think that game reviewers should be tougher when it comes to ranking games. A 9 or higher rating or score should be reserved for the best of best, which stands out and is differentiated from the rest of the games released. From the sounds of the review, if GoW is only seven or so hours long and has done little to nothing in advancing the GoW series and franchise, then maybe this game is not worthy of receiving a score higher than a 9.

It is worthy of a 9, a portable game shouldn't have to live up to a console game, god of war IS among the best of the best on portables, the review was bs.
