Plug the 360 in via optical and set the speakers to optical. If the control center doesn't show up with Dolby Digital, your cable is most likely bad. I've had to face that with two cables.

PunishedOne

just picked up a optic cable and ill see if that does the trick

Z-5500s are 5.1 so they need more than just two inputs.ILoveKHandAnime

If you notice on the back there is a digital input as well would i be able to jsut use the fiber optic on the xbox to plug straight in or do you need the fiber optic and coax?

Can the 360 be connected with just the fiber optic or do i need the digital coaxial as well? or should I just get the adapter for the analog to 6-channel direct? I dont know why they just dont have the standard left and right hook up.

[QUOTE="casket56"]Like previously stated, good for if using over 4gb RAM to have it discovered as physical memory I have had some problems using AfterEffects, Lightroom and Photoshop in 64bit though And also you can upgrade from the 32bit, you would have to back everything up and start clean which is a pain

Ya thats why i want to decide before i put it all together. thanks

Yes he is correct your OS wont recognize more than like 3.3G of RAM. But im in the same boat when it come to making the switch to 64bit i dont know if i should go with vista or not. ive always ran off XP.

I'm thinking of getting a new computer for my room. Anywho I'm not all that smart when it comes to stuff like computers so I don't want anyone to say build your own. So where could I get the best high end computer that is future proof? My price range is probably like 1000-2000 bucks. One more thing since my room isn't really close enough to my wireless router where I could run a ethernet cord. How well is a wireless connection for gaming? Like I got a cable isp, but after it run to and from the wireless router I won't have a bad ping or connection will I?

I know what your felling trust me. When I was a young grasshoppa like yourself in the PC realm I went to CompUSA and found someone who I thought new a lot about computers and told him my price range and that i wanted to use it for gaming. once he put something together for me I through him some bones on the side to come to my house and put it together for me. I'm sure this isn't policy. Also, its a great learning experience watching him put it all together. I would just hate to see you waste your money on a pre-built PC. Good luck!!!!

The last time i messed with Vista it had just been released and I heard nothing but bad things about it so needless to say i steered away from it. Has it changed? Is it a solid OS? whats the deal? I have always used XP. Im thinking of making the switch to the 64-bit as well. Any thought would been great.

[QUOTE="topher8668"]What are the biggest problems you guys have heard of using oil PCs? So far the only thing I can think of is, yes everything stays cool but after the pc has been on for a couple of hours the oil overall begins to heat up and takes even longer to cool. any ideas?WDT-BlackKat
Oil degrades plastic over time, does not even take that long. Bye bye motherboard etc. Oil makes doing any tinkering problematic to impossible. Oil is messy.

If oil is corrosive to plastic then why do you buy it in plastic? : )

Well there's a company that specialises in submersion cooled PCs and they offer a 1 year warrenty as standard with the option to upgrade to a 3 year.

Can you give the name of the company?
