Ive only recently started seeing bands live in the past few months.

So far i have seen:

An Cafe - Japanese happy poppish rock band - 10/10 - My favourite band, and they were amazing!

D'espairsray - Jrock band - 9/10 - Brilliant.

Paradise Lost - 9/10 - Even with a few mic problems they were great. Gonna see them again in September.

Opeth - 8/10 - Had been stood up watching a few other bands for a few hours, by the time it reached them i was a bit bored, but they were very good.

Dimmu Borgir - 8/10 - I loved them, but they were with Lamb of God and their fans are idiots.

Unearth - 6/10 - Decent, but a bit samey/

5FDP - 7/10 - Dont really like their music, but live they were quite impressive.

Lamb of God - 5/10 - I didnt really think much of them, but they created a good atmosphere.

Hammerfall - 3/10 - I like his voice, but as a live perfomance it was pretty terrible.

Architects - 4/10 - Indie metal, didnt work great.

Trigger the bloodshed - 0/10. Words cannot describe their awfulness

Heaven's Basement - 1/10 - No thanks.

DECADENZE - 1/10 Random unkown band, pretty dull.

PJ & Duncan aka Ant & Dec - Over 9000!/10 - I was only 6 ^_^

I intend to see lots more bands. Most I see are metal bands coz my friends who I go with are into that, I like that kinda music aswell though, luckily =^-^=

Seeing Amon Amarth in October which will be amazing :)

[QUOTE="torturehurts"]

Seeing as im 21, never been in a relationship, and im pretty much an unattractive 'nerd'. Who has very little of a social life, and who has only ever caught the attention of one girl, the girl who I really liked, but still managed to not tell her how I felt...

Id say im not 'looking'. If I went looking anyway, I doubt id find anything meaningful. And thats all id be intereted in.
Ill leave it up to 'fate'.

The_Mac_Daddy

Girls, relationships, social skills, etc. takes practice like anything else. Get a haircut, get some new clothes, buy some good cologne, take a shower, brush your teeth, shave, cut your nails, etc. Think, feel and know you are looking your best, and you will feel tons more confident.

Hehe, thread turns into a help the nerd thread ^_^ My post was actually a tad too 'emo' though...

Im not shy or self-concious anymore, just a bit unsociable.
Im only 21 anyways. Apart from my friends, generally other people my age annoy me anyway... =^-^=

Hehe. Yep!
Im still sad Bou left, over a year later. lolol
But the new guys are gooood too.

And I cant be bothered quoting, but by suggesting watching King of the Hill, he pretty much nulified his argument, that the Japanese hide behind deformed characters. Surely with KotH, Americans are hiding behind stereotypical redneck deformed characters?

And anyway, the Japanese can act, may I direct you to Takeshi Kitano, Tadanobu Asano, etc... =^-^=
*Ends the off-topicness of the thread.'

Samurai Champloo. Brilliant. 'Cool'. Watch it.
Dragonball. The 'first' of the series'. More light-hearted and comedy based than DBZ, Im lovin it atm. Haibane Renmei. - A bit different than the anime you listed that you liked (Its not action), but still very very good.
Elfen Lied. I loved it.
Azumanga Daioh. Everyone has to see this.

I remember my friend argued with his History teacher once. The teacher was telling them wrong information about a war or something, and my friend being a history buff kept correcting them.
He was eventually sent out of the lesson for arguing.

So to prove he was right, he printed off and wrote up a few pages of information about said event, and slotted them into his homework.

I thought that was quite a clever way to get back at a teacher. To embarrass them, but to do it quite cleverly.

But a few that come to mind:

1. Battle Royale

2. Last Life in the Universe

3. Ichi the Killer

4. All About Lily Chou-Chou

5. Chungking Express

6. Cafe Lumiere

7. Ping Pong

Free cookies to anyone else who likes those ^_^
