There seems to be a problem with the network when I am trying to review a game

So, here is my review for Armored Core For Answers:

First time played this game, it was really fun, and felt like I really controlled some futuristic gigantic mecha in war time. The opening scene might also be the best part of this game, very realistic and movie-like.

On first run of the game, it won't be that difficult. The missions will be moderately easy and some will be moderately difficult. But you won't have problems finishing the game for the first run. Then, you can play the game over and over again to challenge all difficulties and get as much fund as possible to gear up your NEXT. Sounds pretty easy, but it will be very time consuming. And once you purchase all parts, it will also be a trial and error to get the best NEXT you like. You will have to assemble it, try it out, change parts, change generators, change weapons, and a lot other things. And yes, it is very realistic and very difficult to actually get NEXT that you really love. Usually after playing some times, you will decide that your NEXT needs this and that and you will have to customize it again. This is not a game for easy gamer, because you really need the time to master this game. Once you are ready and done with the offline story mode (that has alternative endings and you can choose which military factions you will support), you can go ahead and challenge other players in online mode.

Graphical quality is great, might be able to be better, but I am not sure. It is seamlessly integrated with gameplay, so there is no problem with it. Loading time sometimes becomes an issue, specially if you are not on a mission and just want to try your NEXT. Faster loading time would boost this game's rating.

Overall, if you are looking for cool, fast-paced, thrilling mecha game, you are looking at it right now.

why is it called a Failbox?

2 of my friends live in the same apartment and when they left out of town for xmas holiday, I found their apartment flooded. The maintainance staff told me that due to extreme cold weather, the water pipe froze and lead the water to burst out of both of my friend's bathroom. Thankfully, there was no damage at all to their room. The water just flooded the first floor where the kitchen was, which had nothing. The only damage my friends' rooms get was humidity. It had become very humid and cold inside... We turned on the heater and dehumidifier and so on to get the apartment back to normal.

Here goes the drama: when my friend J, tried to turn on his xbox 360, our beloved RROD (red ring of death) made its appearance. Nice. He waited one more day to turn it on again, same RROD. Cute. Now, when the apartment is all good and normal, it is still RROD... good job failbox, for not being able to withstand that kind of disastrous environment...

My friend R, came back home several days after J and turned on his PS3... Well... Like you can guess, it is still working... fine, and nicely, no problem at all... BORINGGGG!!! PS3 doesn't seem to be affected by the apartment's condition. Seems like it can withstand a very humid environment and below zero temperature just fine... Hmm, maybe PS3 will be the official gaming and entertainment system for NASA or MARINE or whatever... I mean, it is tough.

This is a real life situation, about 2 gaming consoles, accidentally put in a harsh environment. Apparently the best survived, the worst, died. Well, that's nothing less than what a gaming console with a very high failure rate can offer. What a beautiful red ring of light... We love you failbox, just to see you try and fail.

the jack of all trades, master of none

I am beside my friend now, who is playing Batman: Arkham Asylum. I was kinda interested in this game because of its reputation being a good game. Well, the opening movie is kinda laggy, disappointing. He has been playing for the past one hour and I am bored already. I don't know why but it is just, plain... The characters are not that beautiful at all... I am talking about their face expression, voice acting, and movements. All of them seems to be much inferior, well, compared to of course Uncharted 2. Well, I am bored already... This game is just boring and plain... It's just ok...

The decline of games

I don't play GTA at all, but I have seen my friends playing it, like, they played it on my room, using my ps3 and tv. They invaded my territory and played for hours and hours and hours... So even though I don't play GTA, I know pretty much what's going on with the game, really. GTA was big and still is. The first time it came out, it was crazy and I was wondering why people love it so much. I think people love it because of the open world environment and a lot of things that you can actually do in it. So, pretty much like the SIMS, although not as detailed in character development, but pretty much you can do a lot of things that you wanna try doing in real life but couldn't. I can understand that.

Now there is a lot of game with GTA elements: open world, you can do whatever you want, upgrade your weapon, and other things. I played INFAMOUS and it's a great game. And PROTOTYPE came out. Then DARKSIDERS came out. People can say that all of those games are different. Yes, they are, but they are alike. Similar but not the same. But for me, that's not good enough and won't do for me. I have had enough with simple hack and slash or shoot and destroy games. They are just different in stories and additional features, but are still similar in atmosphere and gameplay.

Yesterday my girlfriend asked me what game did I want for my birthday that is gonna be this 31 Jan. I actually had no idea! Like, I had all the good games that I wanted. I had DEMON'S SOULS, UNCHARTED 2, TEKKEN 6, INFAMOUS, VALKYRIA CHRONICLES, ARMORED CORE: FOR ANSWERS. They are the best of the best in their genre (personal opinion of course). There isn't any single game that I want that is gonna be released till my birthday. I might just ask her to give me the gift later this February and I am gonna ask for HEAVY RAIN.

Now you can pretty much tell what kind of game I want and enjoy. It's the revolutionary one, the challenging, and the originals, not the copycat. What games are the same or similar as the games I owned above? None in my knowledge. I hope that in the near future, game developers will be able to release more games that are not the same, revolutionary and enjoyable.
