I took the jump into Mass Effect 3 multiplayer and I must say, I really realize how much I suck at this. Some key things:

1. I'm the world's worst sniper (Infiltrator class). Usually what I do is I apply the Tactical Cloak (for those that don't know; it makes you invisible for a few seconds) then target/aim with my sniper rifle. This is the correct way of doing things, but at least 50% of the time I'm missing. Aiming for head shots is rather difficult and often I miss because enemies move too much.

2. Other people suck. I'm playing Bronze (the easiest level) and we just seem to fail at teamwork. I know we play for fun, but I often find that my teams get wiped out usually on the 6th wave of enemies. I've only just finally gotten through 1 complete mission (destroying all 11 waves of enemies). Not to mention, I've had instances where we would get to the 8th and 9th waves, and the Host just decides to leave the mission, thus ending the mission itself. That really pisses me off.

3. Ammo. I keep hearing people tell me there is at least 1 box of ammo near the spawn points but I never can find them. And usually, someone else would get to the ammo crate(s) before I have the decency to find them. I can't snipe properly if I can't find ammo, but then again, I need to learn how to be a better sniper and stop missing.

4. Trying to snipe when I have Brutes and Banshees on my ass. I don't really know how to snipe against them because they are just overwhemingly powerful. Trying to get a clear headshot on a Brute is next to impossible for me because they're constantly moving.

5. My player ratings suck. I don't feel like I contribute properly enough and I often find myself with at least the worst ratings out of the other 3 team members. Obviously I try not to pay attention because we're not competing with each other...often it feels like I am competing with other players and it takes away any fun.

6. Stuck with the worst weapons. Obviously I like my Mantis sniper rifle but to have quicker cooldowns, I have to carry less weapons. I'm stuck with a crappy Shuriken. I like the Shuriken in single-player but it just can't take down larger and more powerful enemies. I have like 3 other weapons but they all add immensely to my weight. I just have no clue what other kinds of weapons I should be using (minus the sniper rifle).

7. The microphones from other players. Dammit, please do not use microphones. It's the reason why I got a ps3 instead of a 360; so I wouldn't have to listen to people screaming and whining through their microphones. Not to mention, unneccesary background noise. I'm not sure if there is a way to disable hearing them. The only thing I could do is mute my tv during missions.

So, I probably really piss a lot of players off because I suck so much. But then other players piss me off because they are either A) really good at FPS or B) they suck. At least I have not recieved any hate mail yet. FPS just ain't my kind of thing, but I'm glad I'm not trying to kill other players. That's the one thing I do like about ME3 MP; you are supposed to work together against waves of enemies. The problem is people are still competing with scores anyway and we all massively fail at teamwork.

Commander Shepard would probably jump off a cliff if she saw my "contributions" to the galactic war effort.
