" ibrahimau Posted Nov 30, 2008 11:43 am GMT about me i don't really care about the graphics , i care about whats i'm playing if Gamespot keep comparing between the two console that we love ,they have to write in every single game review about which console have the better graphics , my friend got a PS3 and he don't even have HDTV but he still enjoying playing the games ,. " Both systems play the game the same, so it's nothing to do with gameplay. They're comparing the same games because it's down to graphics after gameplay, if you're going to buy a game that's on the Wii, 360, and PS3, and you own all three consoles, you wouldn't get it on the Wii, you'd get it on the one with best graphics. God.
Surely the fact that they were designed for the Xbox says something... either way, I'm sure that they weren't just designed for the xbox... Developers aren't going to restrict themselves by creating games for one console, the games just need different developmental techniques for each console so they look better on one or the other, and most of the time they look better on the 360... The only games on the PS3 that look better are ones that aren't on the 360... Take a look at WipeOut HD, Little Big Planet and Metal Gear Solid 4. Whereas, if you look at games like BioShock, where they spent a year or two developing it for the PS3 (meaning it should've been superior), it really wasn't at all. I'm not biased at all, just comparing evidence etc. One more thing, whilst at work the other day, I was chatting to an Electronic Arts representative who came in to sort some stuff out, and without any influence etc, he said that the 360 was a far better system compared the Playstation 3... That's not the words of me, but the words of an EA representative (a professional in this matter). Personally, if I was a games developer, creating games for the PS3 would be a nightmare.
Sorry about the double post, but the PS3 seems to be more 'blurred', something I noticed when playing GTA IV on both systems, the anti-aliasing of the PS3 is just awful, along with the draw-distance... If you look at the 360 screens, it always has so much more detail, look at Star Wars, and you can see EACH tile, whereas on the PS3 you can just see many joints, nothing much else, it just looks like a smooth floor.
Why are people just posting comments saying "PS3 has better graphics", the comparison clearly shows that in this game, the 360 has superior graphics. I've played both systems and each one has it's major rising, personally I do prefer the 360, but the PS3 is a great console with the same "Playstation" feel to it, however the 360 does have superior specifications and is favoured by both myself and more of the general public (I work at GAME UK, and console/game sales beat the PS3 2:1)
Playstation 3 is just getting worse and worse the more I read up on it. The Playstation 3 was shown to have all of these features, a lot of which are no longer going to be on the console... Ketan, not sure what you're talking about there... The products are being made at the same price worldwide, so the price shouldn't change anywhere... The price for them creating something may cost $50 in America, it's not going to cost
