Ignore the previous messages, it appears that the message comes up in the radio area, but there's no notification of it happening! :)

So when you're near Vault 101, just check your radio area on your Pip-Boy 3000. Just a note it appeared during "Picking Up The Trail", when you complete the part of the quest "Ask Scribe Rothchild for Information about Vault 87" and the new objective comes up to "Search Lamplight Caverns for a way into Vault 87".

Thanks but I need something more specific? Will I ruin my chances of getting the quest by doing Picking Up The Trail?

Hello, I'm playing through Fallout 3 for the second time to get all of the achievements etc, and I've completed the "Waters for Life" quest or whatever it's called where you first meet the enclave in the Rotunda, the part with your Dad etc, then you travel to the Citadel...

It says that I've completed the Waters of Life quest, and the quest "Picking up the Trail" has began, I haven't done anything in the Citadel at all apart from learning how to use Power Armour... I've done everything that I think I should, wander around near Vault 101... from Megaton to there, and I'm not picking up the radio signal... Any idea of what's happening?? I don't want to have to play through the game again just to get the achievement, but seeing as I'm at this point now, I might as well try my best to get it...

Any ideas?

I was looking into buying a hd tv, but for the time being I was thinking about just buying the VGA cable and plugging it into my monitor, because I've heard some really good things. The main issue that I have is the audio, obviously my monitor doesn't have speakers, and the only other source I can think of are my logitech 2.1 speakers that just use the standard single jack socket that splits into 2.1 itself.

Does anybody have an idea of what I should do? I've been thinking about it for a while and it's beginning to stress me out. It's either this or save up for a nice high definition television.
