I was experiencing some serious response issues too. I changed the settings in the game and got pretty good results. (You might have already attempted this, but I didn't see it listed as something you tried.) My new settings are: / Hints ---> On ** (it's always nice to have some help) Surround Music ---> Off ** (I don't think this matters) Camera Speed ---> Slow ** (This might help) Text Speed ---> Normal ** (I didn't change that) Gamma Correction ---> High ** (I think this helps a lot) Slide Show Mode ---> Off ** (I didn't change that) Alternate Control ---> Disabled ** (I think this helps the most for the "lagginess") / I hope some of this can help with your situation.
