I don't know about you, but when I see the little Electric Chair icon in a Gamespot review, I see that as a challenge, not a negative. I rub my hands together and say "yes, make me think!" I prefer not to fiddle around on easy mode on most games, and I really wish more games would leave the highest difficulty levels unlocked from the get-go, instead of making me play through the medium level just to unlock it. I have no problem with Gamespot warning potential players of higher difficulty games, but by no means should that count off from the experience playing it. Besides, sometimes a humbling experience is good for us, and learning from our failures is all part of life. Just my take. What do you think?
