Huh. I just tried this with my 4th gen iPod Nano. It didn't do anything until I turned on the Wii, but then it went to the screen you get when it's connected to the computer, telling you to eject before disconnecting. The Wii didn't do anything, unsurprisingly.

In my opinion, these have the best graphics:
1. Super Mario Galaxy
2. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
3. Punch-Out!!
For some reason, Punch-Out's graphics look really good to me, but it may just be the art style.
It depends. Personally, I like it because it's a solid Wii FPS with fun online and excellent controls. However, the single player is short and not that great, and with the exception of controls, the game can't really compete with shooters on other consoles.
The paper airplane method might actually work if barrel rolls were assigned to a button instead of motion. I think that the joystick setup is probably best, but it might be interesting to include the an option for the paper airplane controls as an alternative control scheme.
1. Zelda Wii
2. Super Mario Galaxy 2
3. Metroid: Other M
Personally, I doubt that Zelda Wii will be out 2010, but that's Nintendo's release date, so I put it on my list.
I wasn't disappointed, because I got what I wanted: a fun Wii FPS with great graphics and online, and awesome controls.
