microsoft xbox - dont really care - broke 2 years ago

microsoft xbox 360 - 2005 - red ring of death

it still doesnt hurt to get the warranty. chances are its not just gonna break on its own like that other company's consoles. but the warranty will protect it if something bad does happen to it. even though you tend to guard your ps3 with your life, shi t still happens

i wish the TS was here to answer your questions. he knows way more about it than i do.

when you search for a media server on your ps3 it should find the one you just set up on your pc if you followed his directions properly

set the media server up how your ps3 is set up. if you are using a wireless router for your ps3, set the server as wireless. if you are using ethernet, set it for wired.

i built my first pc when i was 13. then i built the one i use now when i was 15 for around $500-600 and it still runs new games on medium settings. well, i dont think it would have if i didnt upgrade the cpu last year. and now at 17, im waiting for the new amd's to come out so i can build a new one.

my point? learn to build your own. pc magazine has a great tut on building pc's. thats where i looked to if i couldnt figure something out. its all really straight forward though.

[QUOTE="sammyjenkis898"]

Is there any way I can get my DVDs to be fullscreen on my PS3?

Like without the bars in the left and right side (they're horizontally)

if its an HDTV theres an option in BD/DVD Settings for the DVD upscaler

im pretty sure it will if the version of the movie is full screen, not wide screen.
