they even had a space trader /strategy game in the works before they released starcraft (what was that game called anyway, it got cancelled - you can see a trailer of it on your original warcraft 2 cd:s lol)...

i think they just might surprise you this time, hehe

Think about it people : in a recent interview blizzard said the most part of the dev team have "had it" with wow. they are working on a new MMO, and i think we have all the reasons to believe it will be a new "EVE" kind of game.

just think about it ; it would be a "mature" thing to do now, as their next step - they know EVE is a massive and successful game, and they want to put it off the throne.

It is obvious blizz have a liking for Sci-fi themed games, and i think they have the economics to do the game that puts EVE to shame, and thats exactly what i think they will do. A "space trader" game can't go wrong in my book, not when its done by a famous company, and these kind of games have huge fan bases as it is. (oldschool ELITE gamers, anyone?) ;)

they will probably do starcraft 2 too, but thats an RTS , not an MMO.

what other choises do they have? make a new fantasy MMO? no chance! a starcraft mmo? dont think so. a new diablo? i dont think they will, it will be compared to WOW all the time, so the time is not right for it, seeing there are so many fantasy MMOs coming already.

I agree with nailfoot. I don't even concider the "new" bard's tale game being a real bard's tale game. It is a shame for the game series and a mockery to us fans to release a game such as this and call it Bard's tale.

the original series are one of the best games I have ever played, all time. The PC versions rock just as much as the C64 does, infact i happen to like the PC versions better, because its easier to save and load on there :))

yu gi oh! GX spirit caller. i wasn't a Yu gi oh fan until i picked this up ;)

other favorites are Phoenix wright and Children of mana.

even though phoenix wright is a "one time" game, its still a great and uplifting experience, totally worth the money if you like "point and click" type adventure with many plot-twists .

my biggest mistake was to buy Burnout Revenge for xbox.

I played burnout Takedown at my friends place and liked it - so i thought i would wait "until the sequel" comes out (it was just a few days), but when i finally got the game it was translated (YES! even the voices!) to swedish (ugh, i hate playing translated games, even if it is my language), and the game didnt play at all like Takedown.

biggest waste of my money, ever. and i buy alot of games

this is a pointless thread, (but then again, many things in life are)

but yeah. i hate world of warcraft :)

it does not have this vast ammount of content you fanboys speak about, once you've done your frist instance there is little or nothing left to see except the color on the ground changes as you progress through the areas, and there are the massive and epic ammount of 3 (yes THREE!) battlegrounds (sealed off arenas) to play PVP in.... uech! the quests are all the same, too.

blizzard when they made the game was so wrong. instead of create a game about war and destruction (which certainly warcraft should be) they made this mess of a care-bare pve game where you make friends and guilds and kill AI-less monsters in a sealed off "safe" dungeon.

their lame excuse for not making destroyable towns was what? they didnt want to let players change the lore of the gameworld?

then why the heck did they create a mmo in that world then!? . I am sure its not according to the lore either that 40 people kill the same dragon every week, or that 8 million people do the exact same favors and quests to the same people in the same order...
