As for whether or not to get the 640 GTS over the 320 GTS I would say if your gaming at resolutions over 1440 x 900 go with the 640 version. I personally own an EVGA 8800GTS 640 MB (factory OC'd 576/1700) and I love it, but I also get my game on at 1680 x 1050. For someone with a lower resolution screen the 320 MB would probably be plenty. Also, although unconfirmed as of yet, the general consensus that I've run into says that the memory difference will make a much bigger performance difference with memory hogging dx10 games.

to rahulprince, between the x1650pro and the 7600GS I would go with the x1650pro, specifically: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102064 it beats out the best 7600GS (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130021) with a higher memory clock and it's also a bit cheaper

Reading this article makes me glad that I went with the GTS 640MB. I may be a bit biased in my view, but it comes out on top in the overall price/performance. Also, as a side to Sal, yes there may be some bottlenecking going on, but how many people out there actually have processors that aren't bottlenecking these cards. My point is that a 2.93Ghz duel core even at stock is better than most people I've talked to have, so these numbers are significant because they apply to about 90% of the people reading.

Here's my list of most anticipated games of 2007: Halo 3 Crysis Assassin's Creed GTA4 GH2 for Xbox 360 Fable 2 (let me dream) God of War 2 and if you think this list is a little Xbox-heavy it's because I don't own a PS3 yet and don't have any plans to get one in the immediate future (unless $600 falls out of the sky).
