Seasons. They enhance your food, environment and life. This blog's about... all three I guess! The rotation of our rock around one of our life forces, the sun. Which season is best for you? This is really subjective, because our House Friends are from around the planet. Here's my take on them.

Spring

Life is in bloom! Around here, things get a little warmer, and breezier! The flowers bloom, and the grass starts growing! Ugh, break out the lawnmower! I've also found that I have many life changes around this time. Sometimes big changes, sometimes little changes that I have to deal with throughout the year. All in all, I like it. Kind of sets the stage for the rest of the seasons.

Summer

Things heat up! And can kind of let loose. Cruising the beach, going to parties, crazy from the heat! This can easily be the best season, as long as you can take the heat! Here in the southern U.S., it's also hurricane season. So you've got to keep an eye on that. It's always been exciting, but after Katrina, there's a lot of dread.

Fall

My favorite, hands down. And it's not because my b-day is in October! Though it doesn't hurt. Things cool down, the leaves change, and the NFL (National Football League) cranks up! The breezes are softer, and for me, it becomes a time of reflection. More than any other season, in the Fall, life is good.

Winter

I can see why it might be someone's favorite season. Depends on where you live. I don't ski or own a snowblower, but I can make a mean snow angel! :) I love the beauty of the snow on the ground. I respect it. But it's my least favorite. It's mostly a pain in the ass!
