I got one my kids live for his 11th bday but he is always monitered and given strict rules with it. His mom would mop the floor with his mouth if he cusses. He plays Halo all the time and it seems he mainly clanned up with kids his age. He is pretty good also.

Now I have to deal with a 7-year-old that wants xbox live because his brother has it. He begs, whines, and pouts but that technique never works for anything and proves he's not mature enough. That's just too young, especially for Halo or any M game.

thanks! I picked up Halo 3, my good friend down the street loves CoD4 so i will have to pick that up. I see Gears is getting cheaper so that will have to get bought also.

The kids are young but I let them play M games, they know the diffference between right and wrong. I love Nintendo but damn the next system has to be up on the graphics/online tip, novelty onlu goes so far.

Bear with me here

So I got an Elite a few weeks ago for Christmas for the kids (sure, buddy ;) ) because we (I) were/was sick of a year of crappy Gamecube I mean Wii graphics and poor online services.

I had been hiding it from everyone including the lady of the house. At night before she came home and the kids were in bed, I could lock the door and set it up on the crappy bedroom tv to make sure the games and wifi adapter I got worked, set up XBL, etc.

Well today I had to wrap everything up and now I have to wait until the kids open it. But then we get to set it up on our Bravia LCD and surround sound and blast the hell out of it. Life is good. :)

I bought an Elite bundle around Dec 10th. It's wrapped up until Christmas so I can't find the info. I hope it's Falcon but whatever.

It runs totally fine and does not mess anything up. It just temporarily disconnects you from going online until you are done playing the disc. I played a bunch of these discs just fine on my new Elite. My friends have these discs and no problems. Many store employees that have the same discs have never reported any problems on their console.

I should clarify by "kicking you off live" I mean it will temporarily disconnect you, not ban you or anything.

they run just fine. it will kick you off of live though. it would be good for someone that doesnt want to store content on their HD. Plus they aren't readily available to anyone like OXM discs. I need to make a list of what exactly is on each disc.

and so on. Can anyone tell me about them? I can't find them on eBay so I dont know the value. Are there people that collect them? They aren't available to the general public.

So I have some discs that were used in the demo kiosks at a retailer. They are different numbered versions and each says "The Experience Disc". I can play them fine but I cannot figure out how to get the content (themes, demos, extras) from the disc onto my harddrive. Do I need a memory unit as a middleman?

Also is there a market for these discs?:D I see very few on eBay.
