You're right. There's usually no excuse. But when I hear one person talk about something that effects the rights and well-beings of others, and knowing that the majority of people have the same view, I guess I kind of feel like I'm talking to all the people, through this person. It's really new for me on the gay marriage debate, since a family member came out and told me he was gay It's made me feel different about debating the issue. I've become more passionate on the subject. It really caught me by surprise.
Still letting things affect you on a personal level isn't the way to go. As for marriage...it sucks...but it makes divorce lawyers happy...so yeah.:P Almost 100k posts you are awesome :o
