Ybut I'm sure most people will agree after seeing the other screenshots of other RTS, that Starcraft II looks so far, not at all next-gen like.

who said SC2 is a next-gen game? next-gen to other companies = eye candy, but to Blizzard is the superior gameplay and story

Blizzard games such as Starcraft, Diablo, Warcraft have never had to depend on pretty graphics to push the sale. Blizzard is probably the only company left that can do that.

I'd prefer the gritty art style like  SC1 or Warhammer.

Look like they are using the upgraded version of war3 engine. Ah well hopefully the gameplay and story will make it up
