I'm Back!

How are ya'll doing!?! It's been so long and I'm sorry I lost touch with just about everyone. I've been so crazed the past few months. Between working on my blog (which was very successful but ultimately too much for me to do all by myself) and finding a job I haven't been online much.

Speaking of which, I got a job! Not a job with a law firm which was a huge disappointment but I'll be working at Pricewaterhouse Coopers in New York City. I'll be able to get my CPA as an accountant so I'll be extremely boring as an accountant and lawyer now! LOL I'm really excited and I start this week which should be cool.

I want to hear from everyone and how you're all doing. I can't believe I've been gone so long. Even more I can't believe that most of my shows haven't aired new episodes in so long!!! This writer's strike needs to end. But hey, at least it will give me a chance to watch the tv show dvd's I've been stockpiling and also watch some shows I missed over the years because I couldn't fit them into my jam packedtv schedule.

Anyway, I'll stop boring you all and go back to watching Season 4 of The O.C. Ofcourse I've seen it many times before but that's never stopped me from rewatching shows over and over again :)

Is anyone able to help me with my blog?

I haven't found anyone yet to help me out but I could really use it. I wrote below in my last post what I need help with so if you know anyone or you could help me out yourself I would really appreciate it.

Love to all my friends out there and especially the oh so blond Kaitlyn :)

Anyone know how to create webpages and know a lot of tv show news?

So as you all know I've been working on my new blog for about a month now at http://tvgeniereview.blogspot.com/. Basically I review tv shows every time there's a new episode (or at least as many as I can get done). I'm going to get into high gear this week with the new seasons all starting.

I was thinking about expanding the content of my blog to include show news. Basically, I want people to be able to read the reviews then check out info on the upcoming episodes, character development, etc. Not the trashy tabloid rumors about the characters but substantive information about the show itself.

But I can't do the reviews and the news as well. So I'm looking for someone who would be interested in creating a site to link to my blog and be in charge or contribute news for a few shows or a specific show you would like to work on. I'm hoping to get this to be big enough where I can attract some advertising agencies to the site and start bringing in some money, which I'll gladly share if we can get the site to that point. If you know html and such that would be a big plus since I'm just learning myself. The site is already pulling in about 170+ unique visitors a day so this could be a big thing.

Let me know if you're interested and check out the blog if you'd like, http://tvgeniereview.blogspot.com/.

Another Day

I haven't been around too much lately but not because I've been all that busy. I miss everyone and hope you're still around checking out my blog. I've seen a few of yours and Kaitlyn's has been hilarious as usual.

I still don't have a job but I'm working by butt off to find one. Hopefully I'll have one by the end of the year (hopefully sooner actually). Other than that I've been helping my father move his business which is pretty ridiculous. He manufactures clothes and has about 2000 rolls of fabric and they are damn heavy. This is on top of about a million other things that need to be moved.

The good news is that my blog is apparently taking off. In the last week I started averaging about 100-120 hits per day which is great. (http://tvgeniereview.blogspot.com/) With the new tv season starting next week I'm hoping this keeps going up. I can't wait for all my shows to come back and especially How I Met Your Mother on Monday. Such an amazing show.

Anyway, I'll try and be back more often and say hello to everyone. Keep in touch.

Emmy's Beef

So as you can tell I have a big beef with the Emmy's. Overall I thought last night's show was pretty good; definitely more entertaining than it has been some years. BUT how in the world does James Spader win best actor in a drama series?

Boston Legal was a good show it's first season but after that not even the writers on that show can take themselves seriously. The plots are atrocious and outrageous and beyond anything that can be thought of as entertaining. That's why I don't get how James Spader wins for a character that hasn't changed in all the years that show has been on tv. Not onlythat but his character isn't even that dynamic. On the other hand, you have James Gandolfini nominated in the same category and I thought his performance for the last season of The Sopranos was amazing. He showed a whole new side to his character and did it very well.

Can anyone please explain to me how James Spader takes that emmy over James Gandolfini or even Hugh Laurie who is much better in House also?

Oh, and hi to all my friends on tv.com...sorry I haven't been on for a bit.

Panda Pictures

So I decided to put up a couple Panda Pictures for one of my new favorite friends (hint: she write's my favorite blog). I took these on my vacation to California a few weeks ago when I visited the San Diego Zoo. The panda was just chillin and eating the bamboo while we all walked by. I actually took about 5 or 6 more picture, so cool.

So Hard To Find A Job

Anyone have a clue why it's so damn hard to find a job when you're first starting out? It's killin me. Everyone wants experience but to get some someone has to give you a job. I've been searching high and low for over 4 months now and still nothin. I wish people would just take a chance on me and give me a shot ya know.

For those of you who don't know I graduated law school recently so I'm looking for a job as a lawyer. You would think that after years and years of every adult telling you to go to law school or med school because you'll get a job there would actually be a job for you when you got out. Apparently, the adults left out the fact that even after law school it still isn't easy getting one.

Oh well what can you do. In the meantime I'll just have fun talking to all my friends on here and updating the new blog I started. It's been so much fun and now that I've had it going for abouta week I'm starting to get a bunch of TV reviews up there for many different shows. Please come and check it out and most importantly give me some feedback...I'm new to the blogging world so I need it. http://tvgeniereview.blogspot.com/

By the way, I read an article on blogging and it said that for google's ratings if you put outgoing links in your blog it decreases your rating. I have a bunch of links to blog search engines I need to post. Does anyone know how to post them without it decreasing the rating of my homepage? Thanks

Entourage My Favorite

Entourage is by far the best comedy on television. Followed in a close second by How I Met Your Mother. If you haven't watch How I Met Your Mother yet please started watching; it is the best show on TV that you are not watching I promise.

Anyway, Entourage's season finale tonight was incredible. It was damn funny and I love when old characters show up. I have to say though that I called the outcome months ago. I knew that the movie would have problems. But I will definitely miss the show until next summer's season.

I wrote some more about the episode and what was great about it. As usual check it out at: http://tvgeniereview.blogspot.com/

The New Bionic Woman = Major Failure

Given our love for action and cool technology you'd think an update on this show would work well. Unfortunatly it doesn't work here. I gave this show a real shot and it just didn't do it for me. I'm working on a review for my blog but I'm struggling to put into words how I feel about this show. It was just that bad. Anyway, I should have it up tonight or tomorrow morning so please come and check it out: http://tvgeniereview.blogspot.com/

New Shows, New Opinions

I gotta say I'm really starting to get addicted to blogging. Never thought I would but oh well. Anyway, after previewing "Bionic Woman," "Chuck," and "Journeyman" by far the best show is "Journeyman." Not only is it great compared to the other two new shows but it's just simply great. If the pilot is any indication it will be on my must see list for a long time.

I was able to review "Chuck" and "Journeyman" on my blog and I'm hoping to get my review of "Bionic Woman" up by tomorrow. Check out my blog at: http://tvgeniereview.blogspot.com/

Anyone have any suggestions on making a blog page more interesting or any other tips?
