This game is just another cross gen developed crud and I can't WAIT for developers to DITCH the PS360 and EXCLUSIVELY create current gen games. My stance has not faltered. My point remains, while this game will be good for fans and generally most gamers (as evidenced by Crystal's metascores which I listed earlier), I can't help but be disappointed in the cross gen development. If you believe the PR that this game IS NOT cross gen and the 360 is going to be a different product/game, then that's on you. I don't believe the PR (I know this company well) and no one is wrong until the game releases. I know I'm right and I just have to wait for the game to drop. By then of course, you'll be defending some other game and telling everyone about that game's PR I'm sure.
My posts have been the same and will remain the same until the game drops. It's cross gen. Crystal and Nixxes and SquareEnix can pump out tons of PR until then.
You seem stuck on Forza Horizon 2 as the end all be all example. The Forza Horizon 2 example COULD happen, but it also COULD NOT happen. Personally, it would be great if that's what happened with Rise of the TR. However, I know too much about Eidos, SquareEnix, Nixxes, and Crystal Dynamics to honestly believe that. I have played every single Crystal Dynamics game for instance. There are plenty of cross gen games with various studios assisting like LBP3, MGS5: Ground Zeroes, Call of Duty, and many more games for instance. Forza Horizon is the exception, not the rule.
As I stated multiple times, it boils down to if you trust PR or not. Do you really think the 360 game will be completely different game, because if it is the same game, we are talking about cross gen development. Ubisoft recently divided the AC games. There was a last gen AC game and a current gen AC game. Those were different (AC Rogue and AC Unity). If you think Rise of the TR is really going to be two different games because some PR leans that way, I can't change what you think. If you want to look at Forza developed by different devs instead of Nixxes and Crystal's past work on previous TR games, I can't stop you. We'll just have to wait and see because clearly we can't have the answer today. All we can do today is quote PR or not.
No one is wrong or right until the game actually releases, btw. :P I've been through this rodeo with SquareEnix, Nixxes, and Crystal Dynamics way too many times to pretend that suddenly this situation is different because PR. They used it in the past, and will use it in their next 2017 TR game as well. It's the same old pattern. They have a game to sell and they want many, many people to get excited and go buy it. This particular deal they made with M$ may mean they put out more PR than usual, because they have to sell X amount of copies before Y time to get a bonus. Who knows, we aren't privy to the timed deal contract. I've been in SW wayyyy too long to pretend otherwise.
