@SolidGame_basic: What's left of KI is a very strong and dedicated community. Right now there's 25k people watching the KI tournament on Twitch, and Maximillian Dood has the biggest fighting game channel on Youtube and is huge on Twitch and he loves KI and even works with them on the game. SFV will be a far bigger game but they'll still be plenty of people playing KI.
KI is more than relevant and will remain so even after SFV comes out
Yesterday the Halo Championship Series was highly viewed on Twitch and even hit the number 2 spot during the finals only behind League of Legends. Right now, Killer Instinct is 6th on Twitch despite being over 2 years old
Why is it that Sony games are practically non existent in the E sports scene? Instead having to rely on games like COD and soon Street Fighter V, is Sony doomed to being irrelevant in E sports?
More games sure, better games? No, the PS4's list is padded because of all the weabo support it gets. You know things are bad when you have to use Digimon, King of Fighters (which hasn't been good in over a decade) Nier (Taro Yoko has never made a good game before and having Platinum won't help much) Resident Evil Umbrella Corps (which has been panned) World of Final Fantasy and other games to pad that list.
Of course games on the XB1 list aren't all guaranteed to be hits either, but when you take the games that will most likely be good and cut the trash filler out, they look about even. Right now PS4 fans can only argue a numerical advantage.
