I traded mine in to Game Stop and got the slim PS3.It's gonna cost $150 if you send it to sony.Thats how i resolved my problem.I gotta let you know though that some of you save files cant be copied to a memory stick so youl loose that data.Try to back up your system before returning it.Do you know what caused it?Because I dont have the slightest clue as to why that happend.

i have the same error exept my light stay's on and it wont pick up an internet connect if you get this proble resolved PLEASE let me know how,mine just stoped working out of nowhere i was playng metal gear online and the next day i tryed to get online and it wouldnt work,i was SO mad.anyways please get back to me if you get this resolved thanx
