Heres one of my many stories.... This one really ticked me off so I will no longer be shopping at gamestop but instead wal mart.
I recently bought Super smash bros melee and Mario party 6 for gamecube because they are both fun to play while you are drunk. At the store the clerk guarantees me that they were tested and will undoubtably work. Upon returning home I quickly found that neither of them were even readable by my console (they both looked like they had been used as shields in the movie troy). So I called gamestop and asked them what time they were open till so I could return them and they said 8:00 p.m. So I head back to the store (its a 20 minute drive by the way) and arrive their at 7:41 p.m. and theirs a lady in line who is trying to by a call of duty but has no idea what she is talking about so its taking forever. While this is going on another teenaged clerk is sitting behind the counter (apparenty cleaning or whatever). So the lady gets her game and now its 7:50 and as I reach my turn in line the clerk says he cant assist me because they need to begin their closing duties.
At this point I lost it and basically forced them into returning my games... but frankly the whole situation was bs
