Nice review... I didn't even expect a score that high from Gamespot, since they can be very critical, and what this game does is more like: bigger in any way and hasn't got some mind crushing innovations... So I'm fine with the score... It also fits with the 0.5 less than IGN theory, so that is just great :P

I agree with you, but the problem is when you listen to the video review by Alex Navarro, you feel like it could deserve more but, because it's not as innovative as other games, they had no choice but to give -.1 because it's the "same". But I'm happy in a way 'cause I bet with a friend it would be -.1 from God of War 1 mark. lol

The devs just couldnt resist putting it in, they had plans to put it in the first but time constraints and the fact that they couldny get it right forced them to scrap it.

Theres a video about it on the extras menu in GOW (not sure if it is called the 'extras' menu, its been a while, just check the place where all the bonus vids are)

In fact, it came from Norse mythology. It's maybe not it's name in the game. But it looks like a Kraken.

Yes. GameTrailers review was good and the images rock ! I was impressed by the images of the Kraken (didn't know we're gonna beat it in the game).

In the same vein they could do one with Kratos having an audience with a Sister of Fate..let's say Clotho.

*after Kratos defeats them, forcing a deal to be struck*

Good review. But I disagree about their commentary when they say that contextual actions to open doors are useless. I mean, it was like this in the first game, why they would change this in this second episode ? For the rest, it's quite good and it remember us that it's only a matter of days before the release ! :)
