Well I've been pretty busy, but I figured I should probably provide some sort of update. I finally got moved into my new apartment and things are looking really nice. I really like it here. Everything about the apartment complex is great.

In other news, I've begun work on a new 2D game project which should be pretty fun. I also will be getting a NEW COMPUTER! Yay! My comp is about on its last legs and it was time for a new one.

Well, sorry I don't have much more to say than that. It's early in the morning and my mind isn't quite functioning yet. lol.

One is a virtual tour of my gaming room in my OLD apt., and the other is me talking about some tools for making your own games on the PC.

And yet AGAIN! the still photo for the video is one with my eyes CLOSED! lol. Why do they always take a snapshot right when I'm blinking?

Cost me about $1,350, but I was able to finance it, so I only have to make monthly payments and pay it off. This is going to be going into my NEW apartment which I should be moving into on the 4th of November. Sorry for lack of updates, but I've been busy getting things in order for moving and whatnot. But I got the HDTV last night. I haven't had a chance to actually USE it because I'm waiting for it to be delivered to my door from the store when I actually move in, and I'll also need to get Digital Cable installed to get an HDTV broadcast. But it should be AWESOME for gaming! woo hoo! Can't wait to play with this bad boy!

Well, I just got approved for my new apartment (they had to do a credit check and a background check on me first). Got the phone call saying I got the apt. just a little while ago. I'm totally stoked because this apartment and the apartment complex are TOTALLY awesome!

I'm on Cloud 9 right now. I was hoping this would work out and was a little anxious that I might not get it, but no worries now!

I get to move in around the 4th of November, so sometime around then I probably won't have net access for a week or so, depending on how fast the cable company comes out to hook up my cable internet.

But all in all this is one heck of a day! :)

I also happen to mention in the video I've never played FFXI. Well, ironically, after I filmed the video, some friends of mine got me hooked on the game! I must say I'm actually rather impressed with what Square pulled off with FFXI. It's not your typical MMO.

So, what will my website be for you ask? Well quite simply, I'll host any programming projects of mine, primarily 2D games I've made, for download.

Well I went out on a limb and recorded my very first video blog. I discuss the various next-gen consoles and the upcoming console wars and what it all means to me personally. I hope you enjoy and don't find it too terribly boring lol :P

lol. Okay, I already have the domain name registered, so I will eventually have it up and running, but with the holidays, trying to afford new toys for ME and for others is going to set me back. So, I most likely won't have my game programming/modding website up until sometime after the first of the year. I'm guessing. Hey, who knows what will happen between then and now? Maybe sooner, but I wouldn't count on it :P

So far, trucking along with my basic membership just fine, but I'm debating on Total Access, cause it doesn't cost that much a month, and I can always cancel it if I ever feel like I'm not getting my money's worth.

I'd do Plus, but it doesn't get rid of the pesky ads, so if I'm actually going to PAY for a Gamespot membership, I want the ads gone! lol :P

But, it may be too late for anybody to offer me some advice, because I might just go ahead and test it out for at least a month. Seriously thinking about doing it, so might be too late if you are reading this lol.

As you can tell from the about me section, I love programming and modding games. Neverwinter Nights 2 comes out this October, and I'm pretty excited about it. It looks to be much better than the original from what I have seen of it.

I really am curious about the toolset that will ship with it. I wonder how much more difficult it will be to design campaigns for this game? Designing campaigns in the original NWN was pretty easy to do for the most part.

One thing I DID notice, is that gamestop.com is offering a tutorial book about the toolset. But, I think I'll hold off on buying that. For one thing, I need to see for myself if I even NEED the book. Second, if I just wait a little while, there will almost surely be tutorials on the Internet from players of NWN 2 on campaign design.

But I am excited about the new world of opportunities that NWN 2 will present! Unfortunately, it looks like the release date is Oct. 31 according to Gamespot. So, I still have a while to wait. But I've waited this long for it, a little longer won't kill me :P

I also hope to have my game design/modding website up and running next month. I already have the domain name registered just need to pay for hosting and I will be good to go. I will unveil details about it as they become available so stay tuned! :)
