@Barbariser: Financial well-being has nothing to do with understanding something. If anything, it just means they're more adept at gaming the system to their benefit at the expense of others which has been proven thanks to the 2008 crash that we've never managed to crawl out from yet. I expect another crash considering virtually nothing is being done to prevent it from happening again.

Problem solved. The error was happening all because I was using the proper spelling of Einhander that used an 'a' with an umlaut since it is a German word. Apparently the site doesn't take kindly to that. Anyway, thanks for your effort regardless! :)

I am using Ubuntu Linux 9.10 so trying IE is out of the question, but I doubt it would help. I am using Google Chrome, but I've used it to post blogs for months now and it has always worked until today. I also tried the newest Opera and the newest Firefox and none of that helped either. Ditto with copying/pasting to and from a text editor.

No, you aren't understanding the problem I am having. I know how to use HTML and BBcode so that isn't the problem. The problem is I can't post a blog regardless of whether or not I have HTML or BBcode in my post. No matter what I still get the "HTML wasn't well-formed" error. It seems to me that the problem is on your end, not mine.

I have been trying all day to post a blog on this site and on the other mirror sites like TV. com, MP3.com, movietome.com, etc. and even if I don't have any HTML or BBcode in my post, I still get the "HTML is not well-formed" error.

Aww, sorry to hear you're leaving. My perspective hasn't seen a much of a change in community. I seem to still get the usual amount of comments on my blogs. For me it was Giant Bomb that had the huge community drop off a few months ago. Anyway, it was good to have you around here and perhaps I'll see you elsewhere, but I'm not much of a forum poster and instead mostly a blog commenter.
