@ jimbob40k I cannot agree more with what you said. This has been a big problem for the PS3. There are many developers who are scared to try and tackle the PS3 dev process. I think 2010 will be a good year for the PS3. I am already excited about two quarter 1 releases for PS3, heavy rain, and white knight. Dark Void looks good too, but thats cross platform. I hope what people are saying about PS3 getting the japanese FF experience is true. And don't forget Sony has atlus in their corner. There is still a next gen SMT in the works, been at it for about 3 years now.

I dont know if its going to be a side by side release or not, but if the ps3 version just needs to be translated then american gamers should not have to wait for it to be ported to 360.

My biggest concern is that Squenix is going to scale down FF for the 360 release, and the american version will be a port of that same version for both PS3 and 360.

As some one who owns both consoles its the cross platform that hurts sony the most. The PS3's best games are Demon Souls, Infamous, Uncharted, Little Big Planet, etc. The games that are developed for the PS3 and blueray. This comparison of the same game on the two consoles is sort of pointless cause its all going to look the same. The games that show off the PS3 cant be played on a 360... to reinforce my point check out Heavy Rain.
