@Gravity_Slave: really? Is that concept really hard to understand for you? Or should I teach you the concept of "open mind" and "not everybody thinks the same away" things.
Everybody has their preferences. Why is it so hard to grasp? It might be pizza to you, but it might be pizza with pineapple to him.
I think this article got it little wrong. There are 2 scenarios here.
1) If you buy a game, and your friend wants to play using same DVD. He has to pay the developer - same price of game (or at lower cost). It is the developer that is benefiting. It is not a tax. your friend is effectively buying the game.
2) If you want to sell a pre-owned game. You sell the game at whatever price. Offline Pass transfers from your live account to the buyer's live account. You get the money. May be there will be a small processing fee for pass transfer like bank transfer.
@binnismann @joeboosauce are you high? He clearly said, you can turn off Kinect capabilities. There is a huge diff between always online and 24 hours. It is same as Steam. You own what you buy. I don't see you b*tching about steam.
@trumafioso @vajjala1986 @karnis So, How many games will you install at a time - 100? Isn't 40 games at a time enough for you? How big a HDD you need 1TB, 2TB? we dont event know what PS4 is going to do.
you are right that you will have to wait for MS to get back your Xbox. I guess we will have to wait and see how robust the system is. Lets not be pessimisitc about something thats not released yet. Also, you dont need to download game installations entirely. Use your DVD to install.
About the stock, I do not believe you or I have enough experience in stock market to understand the shit going on there. Wait for E3 and wait for pre-launch demos and reviews. There is no need to be right out negative about something that hasnt yet proved to be failing.
@karnis So, what is your point? Electronics can fail. They have warranty for that. Use the warranty, get a replacement or a fixed one. Reinstall the games with your game DVDs. What is the problem? How is it different from PC?
@jlefebre6001Are you crazy? If your HDD goes bad, MS will replace your Xbox or fix the HDD. In any case, just re-install the game with the DVD. Since your account is already linked to the game, it wont do authentication again. What is your problem?
How many games will u need to play at a time? Isnt 500 GB enough for atleast 40-50 games. If you dont want something - uninstall it man. Reinstall it when you need it. It is connected to your live account anyway.
