The cost of the ps3 is outrages. I know you rich people might buy it when it launches ow come on give the middle  class a break.  It a possible fact that Sony will loose money big time if they sell the system at the price of $500 or more . Plus if they sold the system at $299 they still make more money then the X box 360 system because its all about the consumers (people)!!! the more people the more the money. I guarantee you that Sony will make fortune off ps3 system if they sold it at $299.
