His attitude certainly is 'consumer friendly', giving BC and BC 4K upgrades for free, releasing the first party games on PC so more can play, pushing crossplay, but what he hasn't done is pushed their studios to make a great exclusive.
@jasperwest: I thought they said the matchmaker won't put Xbox or PS players in the PC queue, but they can if they party up with a PC player. It's an opt in thing, so you know you'll have a harder time on the PC queue if you party up with a PC player.
I'm hope they're spending their time making the PC version as good as it needs to be, since it's quite a long wait. I feel like the only way for Nintendo to get the rest of third party to join is to release a Super Dock that includes hardware that is more powerful than the base PS4. Really thought when they were making the switch they are going to include hardware in the dock to offset the power deficit of the mobile chip.
@mundus: Thats why I was very shocked that game awards gave it to Overwatch, a game that only been a year out, and normally Year 1 updates are typical. Rainbow 6 and Warframe grew exponentially, so I'd expect it to go to either of them.
"Because we want to make a game that you love", then I don't know, put it to EA's faces that you will not make this game until it can be made without game changing gambling pay to win systems?
PUBG, an early access and unfinished game, gets an nomination best ongoing game? An award, designed to award those who have supported the game with continuous updates long after the initial release hype is nominated by a game that hasn't been released.
It'll be interesting if GOTY 2017 is an early access game.
