I don't think flash will develop fast enough to affect ps3/360, but i think psp could benifit a lot from it.
Ape Escape is a good series. You might like Klonoa 2, it does not have a hub (or castle) though. Rayman 2 Revolution is another good platformer.
Star Ocean 2 got me into RPG's. Then FF IX came out, so that was my first FF game. Loved every minute of it.
Get the Wii first. I just got one and it is awesome. Plus, by the time you save up the money again, HDTV's will be cheaper, and you can save more money in the long run.
