I havent been on recently as ive been doing mega mob of assignments

Well its the end of the season up here in the nt and while being defeated in the grand final we still have the awards night to attend. I play in both the under 16's and 18's team so i had to be there for both.

I started off pretty well with a speach from our coach. I ended up taking home the players player which is n award given to the player with most votes for man of the match by his peers. A friend got the best and fairest but my coach said i was only two points behing him in second.

I also got the under 18's most improved which is cool because its not evn my grade.

And last of all i got the junior club person of the year which is also a big award.

I have to step up to 18's full time next year but it should be pretty easy considerng i played it this year at 15 so...

Today we had oral presentations. (sigh) i did alright i guess. most of the other student were better and as usual what i had written is better than what came out of my mouth. The worst of all was my mate, he was so nervous he forgot nearly everthing. Poor block, he was so shamed and upset (not the crying type though)

Ive just found out that Racedriver GRID is making a new DLC for th V8 supercars. Its the premier of motorsport in australia if anyone didnt know, and its coming out. If anyone has more info--PLEASE please help me, cost, when etc.

i cant miss this if any DLC

Well, im looking forward to a good and needed rest over the next few weeks as the term comes to an end. I might finally be able to finish off Half Life 2 and the episodes, and maybe even trade some games in toward i think im going for fallout 3. still unsure bout bond and call of duty 5 but ill wait for the review. Also i get time to wright stuff at free will now. My english class has been so structured atm, essay after essay on boring novels. ARGH and the teacher doesnt help it either by not being willing enough to help outside of school. Well only one teacher infact. Well happy holdays (if you got them)

Over the past few years, homework and video games have worked against each other. Not intencionally of coruse but for some strange reason kids choose games over the shear enjoyment of homework. I dont know why but it just is. Parents complain about kids not doing homework and spending to much time on games. Well i have come up with a cunning plan.

Well everyone knows about how game warnings on teh cover say to take a break every 45 mins for around 15 mins. Well why not increase to break period to around say 45 mins. In this time the kids or adults....if there are any....will do there chores, studies and HOMEWORK. dun, dun duuun. This gives children a sort of incentive that isnt too harsh. For example - taking a childrens xbox 360 away until he finishes his homework. This does not work the majority of the time as the kids mind will be on the 360 and will probably throw things and tantrums dependnding on the age. If there older than 11 theyll most likely yell and try to badger you or argue you into submission. My way gives children a little sip of what they like so it still motivates them to get through the homework because they know that the insentive is there.

Well I dont have a lot of games in my collection so i thought id make a list of games i want that are released and ones that still coming. Please help out with comments on ones you think dont rate etc.

-Mx vs Atv Untamed - I enjoyed the prequal so much on teh PS2, and i love MX

-GTA IV - This game rocks so much. Cant wait to get it.

-Skate - One of the most intuatitive games released ever yet alone the skating franchise

-Dead Space - Looks creepy and the weapons dont look bad either

-Silent Hill:Homecoming - Looks like a good return to what made the series so scary

-FEAR2 - Looks like one of the weirdest trippy FPS' is going to get better

- Call of Duty World at War - looks like one of the best WWII games to date

and last but not least - GEARS OF WAR 2! oh yer

Okay, i was one of those people, if any, that disclosed Fallout 3 as a flop. I had not seen the game footage at this stage and was going on what i had seen in screenshots. I sore the VATS system and thought it was cheap and boring. Man did i have a case of judging a game by its cover. The VATS system is...is...good. Being able to do things like that i sore would be great fun, limbs and heads falling off at will. I was also suprised with how much depth there is going to be. Starting from the massive open ended world to the many options availible. Watching the video's that were released has changed my mind completly and it is now one game i dont want to miss.

Well, its nearing my birthday, 12th of October, and I'm trying to decide between two games. Both these games to me sound great, while one may stand out as the clear winner in your eyes. The first game on my list is Fallout 3. It has a great open waste land to explore, sound visuals and just stupid weapons i.e 'The Fat Boy'

The other is Mx vs Atv: Untamed. This may be a late title to be wanting but I found the previous title, unleashed, to be so fun to me. This has more things to do apperently and larger tracks and area's, and i really want that to. For myself, i cant choose between the two. Mx is cheaper by far but Fallout just looks and sounds like a great game to be. Arrggh. I dont know (sniff)
