My most wanted game of the summer is without doubt Ghostbusters. As a kid I wore out 2 VHS's of each film, I watched it that often. I had all the action figures, even the Station-House with the vault and slime you could pour through the roof. One of my most memorable childhood moments is when my friend got a proton-pack and trap for his birthday, I was so jealous. But now, at last I can be a Ghostbuster, in the new game from Terminal Reality.
Now, I would be nowhere near as excited about this if Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis hadn't written the storyline. I can't remember a video-game based on a movie that has worked this hard for authenticity. I'm actually pleased you don't play as Venkman, Stantz, Spengler or Zeddemore, I get to fight alongside them.
From digesting the trailers that have appeared over the last few months, I'm expecting some truly epic boss battles, and frantic co-op play. Check out this video, get excited, and make sure you get this game when it drops next month.
