I'm a PC gamer as well and for the past couple of months quite honestly the only use ive gotten out of my PS3 is using it as a media player. All I do is watch shows and movies streaming from my computer on it, but honestly I love that cause I only play console games sporadically and it used to just sit there collecting dust while I didn't have any games I wanted to play on it.

My advice is to either just sell it, or find another use for it while you don't have any worthwhile games.
