Honestly, the reason why so many peoples 360s are breaking, is because they dont take care of it well enough. give it plenty of room to breathe, (if you give it enough room to exhaust all the hot air it greatly reduces the chance of the 360 overheating), make sure theres not too much dust on or around it, and keep it horizontal and you should be fine.army-of_one

You are joking right? I mean if you've never had the red rings I'm happy for you but don't pass this off as some sort of user error. "Honestly" I think you're a jackass or a fanboy or some MS stooge. I'm on 360 #4 since I bought my first console during launch. Thereis definitely a problem with theconsole and its handling ofheat. This really isn't even in question.Go check out the 360 forums....Google "red ring of death"...read about the billions MSwill losebecause of it...the new3 year warranty...the new heat sinks that are being addedto the console....the new chips being put in....the 4-6 week wait to get your "fixed" 360 back due to VOLUME. Exactly where in all of this do you think this turned into user error???? Myflat panel, receiver, cable box, PS3, Wii, laptop, and every piece of electronic equipment in my house seem to be doing just fine. But after all of this your advice is "keep it horizontal and you should be fine." ROTFLMAO!!!! There is enough nonsense on this board please don't add to it.

And to the TC. No, 360's are not reliable. BUT...it is a great console as far as games/Live go. I'd wait and see how the new chips/heat sinks work out and then buy 1 of the newer consoles. If you decide to pick 1 up soon justdon't get upset if itbreaks.

I'm looking forward to it and I've never gotten into any Star Wars games. The gameplay looks to be a nice departure from so much of whats out there(and coming out).

I hated Rainbow's multiplayer on the 360. The graphics were horrible and it just felt like a completely different game than the single player, which is top-notch. GRAW 2, on the other hand, has a terrific multiplayer suite. They also upgraded the multiplayer graphics nicely fromthe first GRAW.IMHO.....RS:V (single)= GRAW (multi)> GRAW (single) > RS:V (multi) :D

The fact that the 360 doesn't have a HDD isn't new. And while that may have complicated things I doubt this delay is because of it. We may never know the exact reason for the delay.

Also...whats with everybody chopping on the TC? Why bother bumping the thread with your dumbassresponses?Sad.

And by trying to "fix" a few last minute things...sure.....I think the new release date is only going to make things worse for them. It saddens me to think that the gigantic release gap us gamers faceover the summer could really be exploited by some of the newerand unestablished IP's if the developers would ever get their head out of Santa's ass.

Highs:

- Head start = wider selection of quality next-gen games

- Gears of War, BioShock (I'm not a Halonut, but if you are than add that here)

- Live/Marketplace (very nice service)

- It really does double as a space heater in the winter time

- better message forums

Lows:

-Games are mostly shooter/sports biased (I actually don't mind but it does feel uncreative)

- Unreliable (I'm on 360 #4. So it hasn't been just a couple of weeks its more like over 2 months of down-time since I bought my launch console. And my 4thone doesn't even have the new upgrades so who knows how long it will last. Not only is that a long time...these breaks can come at bad times, like when GRAW/GRAW2/Saints Rowcame out.) I'm really hoping it makes it through this holiday season.

- My compensation for my troubles was Kameo and a 1-month Live card (and I guess you can include the warranty extension) Better than nothing...but weak.

- You have to pay to play over Live

- The Elite

- The cost of repairs probably prevents a price drop.

I gotta be honest at first I hated this demo I thought it was slow and just kinda dumb. Then after a few more plays through it I started to notice things, like the combat system was a lot more deep than just button mashing. I also noticed how the enemies surround you then try to attack from behind. It's little things like that that make a game like this a good or even great game. Those are just my two cents though.The_Dark_Jester

A few ppl have said the same thing and I completely agree. The more you play the more the game offers and I think I've played the demo atleast a dozen times trying different things each time. The evade stick is a huge tool from switching from a group of 3 or 4 enemies engaged with you and blocking your attacks to that 1 guy on the outside not ready for your power attack. I'm definitely picking HS up the day it comes out. My only complaint is that the hero moments are a bit easy. I have the same issue with GoW, although I think GoW gives you a little less time to hit the button. Also...I'm curious what the rest of the game has to offer. With no jump button I get the feeling there aren't "physical" obstacles in the game.

Based on the limitedvideos we've seen so far it looks like the levels center on getting from point A to point B, getting from pointA to point B under a certain time(?), and maybe even collecting those yellow things that you pop. Have any other objectives/modes been announced? If there are others, which ismost likely, can we tinker with those too? This game could be mini-game heaven. I just hope we can play with those types of settings when creating our levels. If you think about it though, even if the game doesn't have a way to keep "score" you could play almost any game with a friend(s) in the LBP world. From something simplelike Tic-Tac-Toe to Plinko to Hide-and-Seek tomore complicated set-ups like a Dunk-Tank or High-Jump/Distance competition(similar to video on PSN) or even American Gladiator style events with attackers and defenders. All themed however you like. The possibilities are endless. Anyone else feel the same way??? Or are the little sackboys and girls getting to me???
