So I was in Oslo yesterday with some friends, and I remember we got  talking about the Sony conference, and what Kaz would reveal to the public. Also made jokes about Kuturagi (insert 4D joke here).

Anyway, I remember saying "They will never release the croissant, they most likely just release the Dual Shock 2 and change the name to Dual Shock 3 or something. Atleast it will look exactly the same as it did with the first and second generation Dual Shock. Because, why fix it if it aint broke, and let's be honest, the Dual Shock is one of the best controllers ever made."

My perseption was right, the new controller looks like the old one, with some added functionality. Gyroscopic action (like Wii), small PS logo (like Xbox 360), better shoulder buttons, wireless, and according to Jeff the thing weighs nothing.

The thing still looks like a grill, but I'm fine with that. Looks nice, glossy, pretty, powerful. What you would expect from the PS3. The games are there; FFXIII, Tekken, Virtua Fighter and so on. Let's just hope Sony dosn't bite more then it can chew this time around. "Super realistic movie quality graphics that will imerse you inside the game. You won't be able to tell the difference between the PS3 and real life!" Also what you would come to expect from a guy like Kuturagi. And what's with the 4D Ken?

All in all what I expected from Sony, but meh, the 599€ price tag will put a lot of people off. We'll see. I'm going to buy it though, that and the two other machines.
