Infant Video Game Pipeline's

With every game, every idea, there must be a process. A solid, concrete, solidified pipeline to make the industry more fine tuned for its line from thought to game. Video games are still the learning point of a new medium of entertainment, of escape. A means to free the stresses of our daily lives and believe that what was once a thought, can now be experienced. This is dedicated to those, who make our lives easier my means of entertainment. This goes to the creators of our video games.

I have read books and books of how art is art, how to make the human body believable in 2d, as well as the new age of modeling, texturing and now rigging of 3d. These are the simple stages of games. I say simple because, it is easier to generate a character from a working perspective than it is to use science, and story, to have someone soak in the pool of creativity. Many find video games fun and entertaining, and with that comes the cults of fans for a particular company, who's system generates more income than the other. To most, this is a proven fact that when someone aligns them self with a faction, another must object. The irony lies in the developers. For it really is a matter of preference for development than creativity, not which console does that particular companies fans want to experience your game the most on which particular system.

This is why I would like to push a 4 year cycle for ALL video game production. We have seen the 2 year cycle crash, and even a 14 year cycle bomb (too human), but if everyone in the environment of a company that specializes in the creative process of video game creation, then it would then and only then be critisized on which game has a better idea, which story is told better, or which is more flourished in its intelectual presentation than it would be graphically, musically, or even its controlability. 10 people at least per team should be delegated to a particular task, and stay on that task till the entire job is done. and to start the video game brainstorm, ten intial game STARTERS should talk story, characters, settings, and color tone, before the implements of "what kind of colors does he wear" or what does the map look like to establish the means of an objective for a given multiplayer mode", those kinds of clouds should then and only then be flourished with details with a team and not by ones self per comp. even the bosses should be a group in order to head the game management, then ten after that to over see mulitple projects to convern its efforts of money making propositions.

There should not be 1 person overseeing his creative genious over an entire team working on one game. the game should be the TEAMS idea, not the creative directors idea. there should be no segregations of teams, such as programmers are different from the envirnmental artists, or the Riggers are not as good as the Modelers. These jobs should all be a family, yet each particular focus is a family memeber. This is my small rant on Video Game creation, and its young pipelines.
