I played the second one first, and totally fell in love with it. Probably the only reason I didn't like the first one quite as much, but it was still awesome. I have to go back and play both. Thanks for the reminder!

I think this is the same thing about Battlezone 2. I know a lot of people prefer the original one, but I played the second one first and totally loved it. Then played the first and didn't care for the interface as much, but still liked it a lot.

That ticked me off too. I couldn't find those anywhere.

I would DEFINITELY read the walkthroughs. Sure they have spoilers in them, but if you don't do certain things your "end game" options will be limited. I didn't get a certain keycode while I was in Pripyat (right after the level you're on) and I couldn't open a door once I got to Chernobyl. Unfortunately, I hadn't kept a "save point" from that level, and I could no longer go back.

You might know all this already, but just in case you don't... thought I'd help ya out.

Closer to four years than five, but Daikatana was another "when it's finished" game that eventually sucked when it finally arrived. Anyone remember that one? Yipes.
