for me it all depends on the culture behind the cuisine, if chopsticks are the norm I'll use them, if it's using your fingers, well I'll do just that. but people should be able to use forks or spoons if that's what they want, without being ridiculed or frowned upon. the most important thing is that you enjoy your meal, otherwise it's just a waste of money and time.
