[QUOTE="wacko93"][QUOTE="desyple"]the only way to settle this is to have a samus vs master chief fight. maybe even in soul caliber Iv:)Tylendal
You know, I never really thought of it like that. That would really be an interesting fight.
This has been done before. Samus invariably wins in the System Wars polls. Not due to talent, or skill or anything like that. Simply because Master Chiefs weapons and gear are older than the oldest relics compared to what Samus has. It would be like comparing a monkey with a sharp stick to a commando. No matter how skilled or brave that monkey is, it's simply a one-sided fight due to technology.
BTW, don't go making a topic about it, because character vs character topics were banned about half a year ago.
Really? I didn't know that. I've only been on Gamespot for a month, and this really is my first attempt at a thread.
Perhaps this movie will keep the hope for peace between Metroid and Halo fanboys.LadyShanoa
That moment at the end freaked me out, but the guy who made it must've been real dedicated.

I didn't find that out... Maybe it's just what's going on with my life. I've seen it on the internet, but... I can't shake everything off.
I've recently been seeing a lot of animosity between games, but none other than Halo and Metroid Prime. The things I've seen and heard are ridiculous. Metroid bashing at Halo for not requiring much skill.... and Halo attacking Metroid's inferior graphics... which game is more mature, it's all so stupid. I've been a fan of Metroid for a long time, and the stuff that my fellow Metroid-lovers throw at Halo, it's shameful. Both games are really good. And even though I prefer one, I don't bug the other gamers. I've had good friends that stopped talking to each other because they like Prime or Halo better. Since when were games about how much more "mature" they are? Games are about having fun. Being mature is respecting the opinions others have. Sure, the Xbox has really awesome hardware... and the Wii's gyroscope is really awesome, too. But it's really a matter of preference.
I'm not trying to give a long sermon, the point of this message is: is there anyone out there who agrees with me? Because with so much bad stuff going on in the world, what-with global warming, the Darfur genocide, and the war on al-Qaeda... gaming is one of the few things I turn to, to alleviate my problems. And people who are arguing about Halo or Metroid being better aren't helping. The console wars are supposed to be a friendly competion, and people taking it further than that are ruining it for all of us.
