My Christmas Day

Today was a typical Christmas, nothing too new or exciting. I woke up, my mom cooked breakfast, and we exchanged some of the presents we hadn't already done from the night before. Pretty much throughout the day I spent time with family at home, talked, played board games, etc. and I actually managed to get on the computer to post on GameSpot and play some Company of Heroes today. Had a lot for dinner but the best part was probably for dessert when we all digged in to some Hawaiian chocolate covered maccadanian nuts... mmm. So yeah, that was pretty much my day, again nothing too special but it was good having the family together.

My presents
-$150 in total cash
-Hooded sweatshirt, 2 shirts, and a pair of blue jeans
-60GB video iPod (upgrade from my 30gb)
-Simpsons Season 9 DVD
-Sennheiser PC150 headset
-Microsoft comfort curve keyboard

All in all a good day and I'm very happy and grateful for the gifts. Hope everyone had a great Christmas themselves, looking forward to the New Year.

Adding to the Halo 3 "Buzz"

Documentary released basically just talking about general aspects of the game, what to expect, etc. Not much more then we've already heard of but it's a nice little video with plenty of insight and backround info on the game. Enjoy.

Missing EverQuest

Boy, this video brought back a lot of good memories. Don't think a video game will ever really capture someone's love like EQ did.

Enjoy.

edit: Bah, guess GS doesn't let you embed video players onto the blogs but here is the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_b9n76F5KQ

10 Days till Christmas!

I can't wait! Haha ...yes another blog about another wonderful holiday. It's also one of the biggest shopping seasons year round, and I can't wait to take advantage of all the craziness I'll be encountering at stores these coming weeks, and at great prices too! For Christmas I'm expecting not too much ..clothes, cash, games, and a nice Christmas day dinner with my family.

Updates to come!

Thanksgiving wrapup ...Black Friday here I come!

So Thanksgiving actually ended up being near picture perfect. There was a bit of controversy with the Turkey but I think I can safely say that everything went a-okay. It was just a typical Thanksgiving dinner with just the family (mom, dad, and brother). I think I can easily say that my mom makes the best stuffing, no competition ...haha just kidding, but it really was good. After dinner the family sat around the TV and relaxed after that humongous meal ..over some pumpkin pie. All in all, another successful Thanksgiving, I couldn't be more thankful for my family, my friends, and the life I am living now.

Now onto the GOOD stuff... Black Friday! Yes! The official opening day to Christmas shopping and at low, low prices! I'm definetly going to be shopping around today. Best Buy, Circuit City, CompUSA, Nordstrom, Target, you name it. I'll be looking to get a ton of goodies ..electronics, games, movies, clothes, and even a few things for my family as Christmas preasents. Well anywho, it's around 8:52 here so I should be heading out now before all the good stuff are gone so I'll be sure to leave a Black Friday wrapup later on. Peace.

Thanksgiving is coming!

Ah, yes ...Thanksgiving is finally coming in just a few days. My second favorite holiday right before Christmas (which evidently, is only a short month away!). I certainly can't wait for both holidays as they're both always joyful occations. Thanksgiving is great because it is a time to have family and friends together in the day you give plenty of thanks ...and eat plenty of food! Ah yes, you name it, turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes with gravy, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, pumpkin pie, oh man, I better quit before I start drooling all over my keyboard. Boy, time passes by so fast ...seems like just yesterday I was up late watching the New Years Eve countdown in New York and here we are already almost at the end of the year. I'll say it's been a rather tough year for me, with school, family issues, and such but this is a day where I put all that aside, eat a lot, talk with friends and family, and just have a good time. God, I love Thanksgiving.
