Ok what does everyone think about all the downloadable content that we have to pay for these days? Are you sick of paying extra for a game that should have had these tracks, maps, characters, etc as standard?

Or do you think its a good idea... Prolonging the lifespan of your favourite gamesand making you play them again after months of gathering dust.

Personally i fall into both categories. I like extra content to stop me getting bored and trading a quality game in, i just think it's getting out of hand and game companies are getting more and more greedy knowing many people will pay regardless.

It would be great if gamers would vote with their wallets and boycott the worst offenders, i just don't see it happening...

Just been playing cod4 beta,amazing. Dont know how i'll find the time to play all the great games coming out this christmas. Halo 3, cod 4, pgr 4, sega rally, resident evil 5 (possibly), mass effect, etc. Shame that they all get released at the same time when the summer is so slow...
