My point is its not as good as a last generation game Ninja Gaiden Black. Stop being such a fanboy. The ps3 just isnt as good. Now that I've owned both I can make that assumption......can you?

I recently traded my 360 for a ps3. The reason was lack of HDMI on my 1st generation 360 and the noisy disk drive. I already had a stand alone blu ray player but figured it would be nice to have one in the other room.......so I did it. I have to say overall I regret the decision. While I like how the ps3 looks and operates (less freezing, very quiet) the games are not as good. I bought MGS4, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, and RFOM. Out of the 3, MGS4 is the best but not as good as GOW. This is a matter of opinion but Metal Gear seems to have a real Japanese flavor to it that I don't think translates here in the U.S. Ninja Gaiden has some minor problems that keep it from being as good as Ninja Gaiden Black was on the 1st generation Xbox. And RFOM stinks. Anyone that says this game is better than Halo is just being a fanboy. It really is a mediocre shooter.

But worse than the games or lack there of is the extremely lame online experience. Playstation network does not even approach what XBox Live has to offer. No movies, No T.V. , and no one is ever there to play. I don't know maybe this will change but with microsoft announcing Netflix on XBOX live I'm really wishing I dished out a couple of extra beans and bought an Elite. The PS3 just isnt as good.

Sorry but the worst ps3 games are exclusives like Lair, Ghengi, Heavenly Sword, ect. The best games are Ninja Gaiden, Oblivion, Rainbow Six......all xbox games.

By best you mean Heavenly Sword at 7.0 and Lair at 6.5. Or maybe you live in the bizzaro world where lower numbers are actually better. How long have you been watching trailers for Metal Gear and Killzone now? 3 years? I would love one reason...one unbaised real reason why I should go out and buy a PS3. Because I can't find any. We're in this for the video games right? And anyone that says the current or near future ps3 library is superior to what the 360 has coming out is not facing reality.

I believe Sony's biggest mistake can be traced back to its embrace of Blu-Ray technology. First and foremost it's the reason Sony released its console nearly a full year after its number one competitor, microsoft. This caused a large population of the gaming community to jump ship and go with the Xbox for the simple fact that if you wanted to play next gen...that was your only choice. It's also no secret that developers have been slow to create new games for Blu-Ray because its a new format. A format that is only slightly better than what the 360 offers and harder to develop for. Therefore, Sony also lost many of its exclusive titles in the process. Many fanboyz will say that it will be worth the wait in the end because Blu-Ray will be the winner of the new format war. However those of us in the tech business know that most likley neither Blu-Ray or HD-DVD will be the technology of the future. But rather downloadable material, full lenghth HD games and movies. At least Microsoft gave you a choice (a cheaper one at that) while Sony put all its eggs in 1 basket. Its really quite interesting because if Blu-Ray fails....Sony could be finished soon after.

With the release of Bioshock in the next couple of weeks, things are looking good for the 360. By all early accounts this will be a AAA game...something the 360 needs to deflect some of the negative press that has been coming out ever since E3. While I continue to read article after article about how great the PS3 is I still don't see any games. I know Lair will be out as well this month but i don't think that will be anywhere near the quality game that Bioshock will be. All the other decent titles that have a chance at AAA are slated for 2008. Man, youSony guys are very patient. Doesn't RFOM get boring after a year?

Dude, what did you buy a next gen console for? To watch Talledega nights in high-def or play awesome video games? The 360 is the better gaming system hands down. Better games, better exclusives, just better. If Blue-Ray wins the format war than I'll go out and buy a blue Ray player. But for now, I want to play the best video games possible and the 360 does that better than the ps3. Sony made a big mistake when they decided to push a new high def format on people rather than concentrate on games.
