...and I couldn't be happier! I got my 360 (of course) and I got Halo 3 bundled in too, i bought myself Assassin's Creed aswell and im finding the whole experience of those 2 combined on my very own 360, just amazing. I'm also lending 2 games from one of my best friends, and those are COD3 and GRAW2. I havent really played on those much, just did the initial training and stuff, the put them to the side and played on AC and HALO! lmao

Anyway, i want to go to cardiff soon and buy myself R6V and maybe something else, or...i could ask for it on christmas....maybe, but you get the idea, i'm starting to build up my 360 games collection =D

With 2 weeks remaining before the big day, i find myself being asked what i want in terms of gifts. I have asked for:

Disregard the part of my last blog where i said that i'll hopefully get Forza Motorsport 2 for Christmas. I've just found out that it comes with the Xbox 360 Premium and Elite packages after the end of this month.

So not only will I have HALO 3 for my birthday, but Forza and Marvel: Ultimate Alliance (M:UA also included in the afore mentioned package)

Hey people,

great news! I had a word with my dad earlier, and I told him about the month's free subscription to Xbox Live Gold, and i said that it starts from when you purchase the Xbox itself (I don't know whether this is true, but if it's not, then it was better to lie anyway) and i said that it wouldn't be worth getting it and then waiting til christmas and then having to pay for xbox live stright away...and there's no point in trying to go out and get one closer to christmas because there's gonna be none in the shops at that time. so my dad said: "That's what we gotta do is it? Go and get it for your birthday?" and it's obvious what I said....

So all of you 360 owners, I, Major Scorpio, will be playing for the first time, from November 16th!

I've now got my Xbox Live Gamertag in readiness for when I get my Xbox 360. I was going to leave it until i got my xbox itself, but if you think about it, there r gonna be loads of poeple getting an xbox 360 this christmas and a lot of new xbox live members are going to use names which i might want to use.....so if u wont to add me as a friend (not that I can do anything like send messages yet, because you have to have an xbox live gold membership to do even that) and then I can have a group of people to play with at christmas.

I've come to the conclusion that when I eventually play Halo 3, I'm not gonna have a clue about the story so far....so, I had a look on the ASDA website and saw that they sell the Halo Triple Pack, which contains

Halo 1

Halo 2

Halo 2 Multiplayer Map Pack

All of that comes at a price of £17.97 which is bargain IMO. So i'm gonna invest in this, probably before i get my 360 so that I can play them whenever I want after i get it, otherwise, knowing me, i'll decide that i wonna play halo and halo 2 and then i gotta go out and find it then. So i think it's wise to get it like maybe in November.

Apart from that.....i dunno what else to say.....so....bye for now =D

Right, so this is what's gonna happen....I'm gonna get an Xbox 360 Elite for christmas. I feel that right now the 360 is the way to go, but maybe next year or the year after, the PS3 will be the better console. But it's decided, the Xbox 360 Elite will be under my christmas treethis year. here's a list of games which i hope to get either before i get my 360 or on christmas

1) Halo 3

2)Call of Duty 4

3) Assassin's Creed

4) Guitar Hero 3

For now at least, these will be the games which i'll ask for, the other games i want, like Destroy All Humans! 3 and GTA IV, are obviously out next year and i'll be getting them too.

Anyway, just thought I'd say that I'm definately getting a 360 now, so....cya =)

well maybe i was wrong about my christmas present....i could still have a 360 elite if i want to, but if i save up and give my dad the extra money, i could have a ps3......so now i'm back to square one.

the main thing that turned me towards the 360 was that my friend's magazine said that when the ps3 home is released, you'll have to pay by the hour by credit card...i can't have a credit card and my dad will want nothing to do with the ps3 after he bought it (if he ever did), also i assunmed downloads would have to be payed through the same credit card. now i've heard that ps3 home is free and you'll be able to walk around in the online world for nothing, and that pre-payed cards will come out in game shops for you to be able to download whatever you want

but i don't know if any of this true, and if it is, will it actually hapen?

if any of you have advice for me then feel free to comment this blog or pm me and give me a second opinion

i'm being pressured into buying a 360 by my friends who are themselves 360 owners, and i'm being pressured into buying a ps3 by my best friend, plus mgs4 is a ps3 exclusive which is pushing me back towards sony
