yeah all the controllers are the same, no metallic part on any of them. The only thing that is different from core to premium as far as looks go is the metallic plate for the dvd drive. The core has a white plate for the dvd drive.

I also read in Game Informer that you could have up to 6 360's on 6 tv's (3 in front and 3 behind you) and totally immerse yourself in the forza 2 world. I think it's silly honestly.

okay what exactly is wrong with my xbox 360. I tried emailing MS but nothing worked. so i'll try u guys. The only friking game I can play is gears of war ( okay but it gets old if i don't want to go online) every other game freezes up. so should i open up my 360 and like see if i can pop something back in place or something? if you guys suggest me opening my 360, give me some advice on how to avoid screwing up the processFantasyStyle
Dont open it up!!! I made the mistake of doing this and when I sent it in they sent it back to me saying they would not fix it, even after I paid $150, because I "tampered with my console" which all I did was clean out a little dust and look around to see if the problem was obvious or an easy fix. Long story short I'm sill waiting for a refund (2 months later) and I am now out the 400 I paid for my paperweight, I mean 360.

use the 360 requires too much power.. and having it directly plugged into the wall for the most (non split) energy will be healthier for it and improve its lifespan over using a surge protector etc

This is totally untrue. If your plug your 360 into an outlet that is on the same circuit as your other entertainment things(tv, dvd, surround sound), it will use the same amount of power as if it is plugged into a power strip, as long as you buy a nice power strip. The circuit is rated to 15 or 20 amps and your electronics all pull from the same source of power (breaker in the power panel). The power strip or surge protector will not hinder that flow as long as it isn't cheap. And I would know, I'm an electrician and I can't have you giving people bad info over the internet when you don't know what you're talking about.
