I may not know much about GPU's, but I'm positive it's a GeForce 9500 GS. Look it up on google or something, it exists. I wasn't planning on using SLI with this one either. If anything, I would upgrade my GPU, and down the road, I might consider purchasing an SLI enabled motherboard as well as another GPU. But at this point, I'm considering the 9800 GTX+ and the ATI Radeon HD 4870. I've read that ATI's have similar quality with a lower price, is this true?

It's not a 9500M GS, it's just a 9500 GS. I've been considering a new motherboard so I can use SLI, but for right now, I'm just looking for an upgrade. Would it be smarter to just buy a more powerful GPU rather than a new motherboard and two less powerful ones? Also, my processor is an AMD Phenom 8550 Triple-Core at ~2.2 GHz. If I'm planning on playing new PC games, should I consider upgrading my CPU as well?

I want to be able to play new games on my PC, but I'm not sure if mine can handle it. My GPU is a NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GS, and from what I've gathered, that is a bad GPU for gaming. Right now, I'm looking at buying a NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX+ but I don't know anything about manufacturers and stuff. Is that even a GPU worth buying? If so, which manufacturer is best and what else should I know about upgrading GPU's.

Lately, when I turn on my Xbox, I get an error message - E 68 - and one red quadrant on the ring of light. Usually, if I turn my Xbox off and on it'll work again, but the last two days, I'll get the error message multiple times. According the xbox.com support page, this means my hard drive is failing. How can I get all my saved files (I've had this hard drive since launch) onto another hard drive in the event that I can't get the Xbox on anymore? And if I get a new HDD and recover my gamertag, will the saved files somehow be recovered as well?

And by the way, it's supposed to say E 68, not E 68)

Well I have my 360 running in 1080p because I went to the display settings and changed the output to 1080p, and from my understanding, you can run 1080p with component cables as long as your TV supports it (which mine does). I was just wondering if everything will look smoother with an HDMI.

I have an older Xbox 360 so it doesn't have an HDMI port, but I think I may have read somewhere a while ago that there is some sort of adapter cable that allows for an HDMI connection. Also, if such a cable exists, is it worth purchasing if I already have component cables because I want to get the most out of my 1080p picture, but if there's no difference in quality between HDMI and component connections, I won't even bother. Thanks.

I recently purchased a new 37" Insignia LCD, and when I was playing Oblivion I noticed that anything dark became unclear and appeared to be dragging if I was moving or looking around. So sometimes I ended up with a faint image of something dark overlapping with another image. By dark I mean anywhere in the sewers, areas in the shadows, most places at night, etc. I know this explanation is kind of unclear, but it's the best description I can think of. If anyone has experienced this or knows how to fix it just let me know.

Well I just got a 40 GB, so is that more susceptible because it's a little older?
