This is the only thing I can really see Nintendo doing that would give them a big boost of gaming sales. They could include a tv adapter so you could hook it up to your tv and a wireless controller. The days of using physical media is just going to continue to decline and it's time to step forward especially with the cloud technologies coming out. Tablets are already becoming the go to device for entertainment. With the direction Nintendo has already been going with their gaming systems this is the only other logical step to go in. While this would put them in direct competition with Apple I can easily see Nintendo taking the top spot. They have the franchises, friendly prices and reliable hardware to go head to head with them no problem.

Wow I'm just looking at all these issues that I didn't even know PS3 had. How did the cows put up with all that crap. Incredible. It's almost all the firmware that Sony has ever released had issues. Every single one.

The fact is Xbox LIVE is way better than PSN. The cows are gonna moo all day long with damage control even though they know it's the truth.

Unless developers make special edition PS4 games that utilize it's hardware advantages which is highly unlikely for multiplatform games, then it's not gonna really matter. Even the PS3 exclusives had better graphics but that really didn't make that much of an impact of people choosing the 360 instead.

So people are now okey with MS and the Xone, knowing what MS really want to do. They are not gonna give up, if the console sells well they can just implement it all later on.

The fact that MS did not expect people to react the way they did, really says it all about how stupid MS is.

Martin_G_N

Yeah what MS really wanted to do was allow us to download game discs to our hard drive and be able to play them without keep the disc in the disc tray. Just tell me how the hell you would prevent piracy without going with any type of DRM or online connection to allow that?

Since you guys are talking XBL and PSN i'm just gonna tell you how it is. Xbox LIVE is way better than PSN. With the same connection it took me less time to download a game or update on Xbox LIVE than it did on the PSN. We have yet to even get our hands on the new PSN+ network for PS4 so nobody can even claim it's better than Xbox LIVE.

Now we won't be able to download the game to the hard drive and play the game without the game disc.

The only other way that they could have made it where you could download the game to your hard drive was to go with product key codes. That's why they made it where you had to connect to the internet every 24 hours.

[QUOTE="NathanDrakeSwag"]

[QUOTE="CanYouDiglt"] So you problem is price and not DRM? CanYouDiglt

What are you gonna do with a $1 game sell it for a penny?

No one has a problem with DRM on Steam for example.

Exactly.. If DRM was really that big of an issue more people would be complaining about not being able to lend your friend your game that you bought on Steam. Just because I bought a game for .99 that makes it ok for me to not be able to lend it or just give it away if I want?

last i check games on your ipad don't stop working if you don't have a internet connection for 24 hours and those games cost what, 5 maybe 10 dollars. You trying to compare it to something thats 50-60. Also why shouldn't i be able to trade in my games or lend it to a friend without jumping through hoops. Thats the problem people have with it.

Chris_Williams

Why can't I sell or trade any games I bought digitally on the PS3 and Xbox 360? I don't see anyone complaining about that..... The Internet requirement is a whole other discussion as most devices require an internet connection to download games, updates and access content. If you can't connect to the internet at least once a day then obviously a Xbox One is not going to be something you can buy. Hell you might as well not even bother buying a next gen system as both the PS4 and Xbox One are gearing towards more online centric gaming. The people who buy consoles solely for single player is a very small percentage of gamers these days.

People have already been supporting DRM by buying games digitally. So that means the PS3 and Xbox 360 already has had and been supporting full DRM. When you buy a game on the Ipad or other Smartphone guess what? You download it digitally so therefor there is no trading or selling the game you just bought. That is the case for every device that has digital downloads.

This whole thing is being way overblown! I can't believe people are actually trying to use that as a negative towards the Xbox One it's just stupid. If people were really that concerned about DRM why just now start complaining about it? It just makes no sense to bash the Xbox One for it.

Wow TC that is a tough question! It's hard to narrow it down to just one game. I just can't do it
