Obviously you've found the internet somewhere. How are you connecting to post in this forum? The problem is that my router is at the back of the house, and the 360 is at the front >.>, parents won't let me put in a long ethernet cable, and internet sharing through my laptop is really really slow and doesn't work for some reason. So I'll probs get the wireless adapter when it drops in price (so expensive :S)
lol, all I found was downloads not from microsoft... Anyway...I found it on the US xbox website, so will it work on an Australian 360? Just asking because the Australian xbox website didn't have it...
If you make a xbox live account, you can't choose.
But if you make a regular account, you can make another xbox live account and use the 1 month gold free at any other time.

lol, i just want to make things clear... I've got an offline profile already, so when I connect my 360 to the internet, I create another profile? And if I create another profile (one offline, one for live); I can then say 'no', and choose when to use it ^^^is that correct?
My mistake I was thikning about my situation which is a bit different. You can connect to XBL using your offline account at any time you get your 1 month gold free. You can also make 2 more accounts and get xbox live gold free for a month as well.
Oh ok, so that means that you can decide when to create the other 2 accounts, and therefore choosing when to use those 2 months? So does that also mean that there is no point choosing to say 'no', because you will lose the one month of gold for no reason? I'm just asking all this because I don't have games atm that can be played online, and I don't want to waste a month of gold :P

If you decide to choose not to accept the 1 month complementary gold when you connect your 360 to the internet for the first time...do you lose it or can you use it later?

So if you say no, can you decide to use it later, or is it just gone? XD I think it's pretty much gone for that gamertag. I didn't use my free month and I can't see how I could activate it for the gamertag I made back then. Weird, makes you think why they even have the option there...
