Excitement for 2010

Now that 2009 is over it's time to look at what 2010 holds for us in terms of games. And it looks promising. I'm very excited about Final Fantasy XIII, coming out March 9. I'm also going to probably get Mass Effect 2, looks really neat. There is also Bioshock 2, looks just as amazing as the last one. Super Mario Galaxy 2 might also give me and good reason to play with my Wii once again. 2010 holds much promise other than just what I mentioned, and I can't wait to see how everything turns out.

Campaigns

Modern Warfare 2, the most hyped game I have ever seen, and I have just gotten it. I've also beaten the campaign, wait for it, ALREADY! This is getting ridiculous. I mean, sure multiplayer is alot of fun, I play it all the time, but with the new age of serious online gaming, game developers seem to have been starting to ignore single player campaigns all together. I finished MW2's campaign in 5 hours! I had a blast playing, but seriously 5 hours!? Sure the storyline wasn't the best(it's a FPS, what was I honestly expecting) but wow, I was done with that faster than a day out shopping! And I don't like to shop! At this point, I don't know what to do but stick with RPGs. Final Fantasy XIII can't come out fast enough....

Why Didn't Anyone Tell Me?

The other day, I was over at a friend's house. I was looking through games and I came across one, Battlefield: Bad Company. When I was about to leave, I asked if I could borrow it. He said sure, so I went home and played it. Why hasn't anyone told me that it's really this much fun? It has a much different feel than other shooters, and for me, a nice change in pace. And to top it all off, vehicles! I miss those things, not that common are used that much, but that's entirely different. Bad Company also has this that sets it apart, and makes the game extremely realistic, buildings that can be razed.(or at least come close to it)Camping behind walls are no longer as safe as they used to be =). I'm probably going to buy it tomorrow on games on demand, for 20 dollars with what you get, if you don't already own it, you should definitly go get it, or at least try it!
