O.k. let me just start off by saying that I just came back from the future and I've played Halo 3. You've heard that right, and I have to say, it's not that great, Gears of War was far better.
All joking a side, I must say people seem to have an inept ability to judge games way before their release date, comparing Gears of War to Halo 3. Waking up? Yeah, you've ever heard of it? I doubt it if you can say Halo 3 is way better then Gears even though, call me crazy, most of you never played Halo 3, never mind if you've even played Gears.
Now being able to download demos via the live marketplace, judging the final product by playing the demo, is also a newly found ability. Take the Lost Planet demos that came out nearly 6 months before the actual retail full version was on shelves, of course it wasn't even near to the quality found in the "gold" copy. Yet most found time to complain about the framerate and matchmaking which was no where to be found on the disc. Same thing happened with Crackdown which only let you play 30 minutes, of course you won't get to see that best parts.
Another hot topic is hating games to be "cool" or "hip", you hating the top games like Gears of War, Resistance or even Wii Sports, will only allow yourself to not play these fantastic games. They're all fantastic games, you should all enjoy regardless of what company's behind them.
Keep everything I said in mind, if I can change only 1 person's mind about this, I'll feel like I accomplished something. Oh by the way I just came back from 2019 and Duke Nukem Forever was well worth the wait.
