Thanks guys. We've had it pretty much since it came out, so it's defintely out of warranty. But, we figured sending it in would be the smartest choice. If we tried to get it out ourselves, we'd probably end up breaking it. $80 is still cheaper than a new wii after all. It's just not worth the risk of breaking it. :roll:
We rented Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker for gamecube a few days ago. Put it in the wii, it works like it's supposed to. Later, we want to play Super Smash Brothers Brawl. We try to take the disc out...and IT WON'T COME OUT. We've tried everything we can think of to get it out! The only thing we haven't done yet is take the face off and just pick the disc out. But the wii has these weird "Y" shaped screws, we can't get a screwdriver that fits. The customer service place said we could send it in and they can get it out for us, but it'd cost around 80 dollars and take 2-3 weeks to get it back. Hecks no! I've never had a problem quite like this. It might be funny if it wasn't so serious, but it's annoying now. Does anyone have any ideas?
